Love is the one thing so many of us desire to have in our lives, and yet, it is the one thing we so often fail to achieve. Sometimes we think we have to do or say something to earn someone’s love when what we fail to realize is that love, first and foremost, comes from God. Every kind of love we feel and share with others is a result of our spiritual connection to a power much greater and stronger than all of us.
When reflecting on the nature of this book, I wanted to share many poetic works I have drafted in the realm of love and friendship. I feel they are two sides of the same coin and the very things we need to sustain us and give us life. When it comes to matters of the heart, I have truly had some interesting experiences, so many of which I did not understand, yet the lessons I learned were profound.
The one thing I have learned is that love exists in many different ways and in many diverse forms in the areas of spiritual connections.
If you feel a lack of love in your life or feel you have not experienced the power of spiritual love in its greatest form, I sincerely hope you will enjoy this book, Magical Love Messages Between Kindred Spirits, as each chapter contains a special message of love that will transform your life and your connections with those to whom you feel special ties.
Until the outbreak of the First World War, young Cameron Blair would have liked nothing better than to stay in Edinburgh and marry his childhood sweetheart. As the call to arms goes out, Cameron and his pals sign up to fight for their country. They are soon delivered into the nightmare of war, and there Cameron more than meets his maker.
The story follows Cameron as he comes to terms with his new ‘life’, from his first days as a hapless vampire in war-torn France to the glamorous modern day setting of the Cote d’Azur. Along the way, he develops a distinctive taste for the finer things in life: jewels, yachts, small dogs and champagne-infused human…
This is a dark comedy, not suitable for the faint-hearted. Cameron, our vampire, has an unusual diet.
“The Sieve” is Book I of the epic fantasy novel Drakon.
“I am here to redeem the lives of my wife and daughter. I’ve brought the offering.”
Da-Ren, an infidel barbarian, arrives at the Castlemonastery, his only offering a jar of honey.
Baagh, the Cross Sorcerer, follows him there under orders of the Emperor, demanding from the monks to transcribe the warrior’s story.
Book I chronicles Da-Ren’s early years, growing up in a tribe of archer riders and pagan witches, camped north of the Blackvein River. He enters the Sieve, the forty-day initiation trial that determines the fate of every boy and girl. Many of his comrades will fall, the strong will join the warriors, and an elite few will be marked for leadership. Da-Ren learns to endure the elements, to obey the Truths, to keep standing when all hope is lost. He swallows the legends of the Ouna-Ma witches, learns to hate all other tribes, and conquers fear.
And yet there is one trial that will bring him to his knees. The Goddess’s favorite daughter. “Brown-haired, brown-eyed. Brown was the first color of the day.”
The journey begins for the man who will become the First Blade of the Devil.
A brutal, poetic, first-person narrative of war, death, and love.
Worse Than Being Alone is a riveting tale involving multiple cons, a vicious murder, romance, betrayal, and escape as it explores just how far all of us are prepared to go to avoid being alone.
Kitty and Roni are building their fledgling investigative agency by following workers’ comp cheats. Every PI’s dream of catching real criminals seems to be coming true when they begin to suspect one of their targets is engaged in more nefarious activities than just a bogus comp claim. Their cat and mouse game gets twisted when they realize they are the ones being stalked.
A potentially lethal inquiry emerges after Roni’s father marries a woman with a checkered past. When their investigation points to a shady past involving a trail of life insurance payouts and dead husbands, they wonder if Dad has married a Black Widow or an extremely unlucky woman.
As that case boils over, along comes the most talented con artist of them all. After his employer hires them to check him out, Kitty and Roni slowly come to realize he has the makings of a master criminal. They uncover numerous identities along with multiple workers’ comp claims. Then there are his almost daily trips to the same bank wearing different disguises.
Surprises abound as Kitty and Roni break up a sex slave ring, thwart a bank robbery, nab a shoplifter, and document a Black Widow’s treachery. A sudden death leaves them stunned as they second-guess their activities, forcing them to confront a murderer.
Severe introvert by day, misguided dating guru by night, Harold workshops elaborate strategies for seducing Emma on his Youtube channel. But when he finally works up the courage to ask her out, he discovers Emma is only using him to get fodder for her own dating blog – the one she’s set up to seduce Leopold.
As it is clear from the very title, the book “The Other Face of panic” aims to shift the focus of people who suffer from panic disorder from its symptoms.
Through change of perspective, i.e. recognizing and realizing the “other face” of their state, these people are finally able to accept what they considered as unacceptable till now, namely panic disorder. Without pressing them, I lead them to self-awareness.
Without obtrusion, I suggest that panic disorder is not a punishment for them, but it is a call, a sign given from our subconscious mind that the path we have chosen is not the one our soul wants. Through the symptoms of our body our true “Self” wants to open our mind for something new, something better.
It prepares us for a long expected Change. I slightly assure them that panic disorder is their friend who is not afraid to tell the truth, no matter how it hurts them. That panic disorder is our own unconscious choice and thanks to it for the first time in our Life we are able to see the truth about ourselves and our Lives.
